Killing Floor 1016 Full Beta Patch Change Log
This "should" be the full change log so far. I'll try and keep it updated for the rest of the beta.
Difficulty:
Added a new difficulty (this is the current KF Suicidal version you are already playing), called Hell on Earth.
The following changes have been reverted out of Hard difficulty and below:
- Clots grab can be broken
- Extended Rage timer for Fleshpound
- Removed quicker Scrake rage
- Removed Anti Xbow Headshot multipliers from Scrake and Fleshpound
- Removed single stun limit from Normal and Hard
Suicidal:
- Reduced Zed movement speed on suicidal to between Hard and Hell on Earth
Fixes and General
- Fixed an error that was double the amount of money given to the team at the end of the round
- Only allow a single stun on a Scrake or Fleshpound, never another.
- Increased blast radius and damage on grenades (Increased radius from 350 to 420 and damage from 250 to 300)
- Removed randomness from Melee weapon strikes except on chainsaw primary fire
- Fixed Mac10 third person sound
- Fixed Winchester firing from stopping fall damage from taking place(thanks to Benjamin on this one)
- Reduced damage on the Knife to make the machete more appealing to users wanting to melee early on
- Fixed an issue where the teams end of round money could be reduced by sharing money with teammates
Beserker:
Changes:
- Increased the head shot multiplier on the chainsaw to 1
- Increased Beserker damage resistance
- Remove stun effect of Melee attacks from classes that are not Beserker
- Auto fire katana. Changed fire rate to .75
- Fixed a bug in code applying extra damage to front attacks that was ment for back attacks
- Changed Zerker damage resistance to 40%
- Increased Chainsaw damage by 16%
- Decrease Machete weight to 1. Reduce the knife damage so it does not one shot headshot clots. Damage went from 20 to 14, which is a 30% reduction
- Removed melee randomness (we swear, thanks Scary Ghost)
- Removed armor from Berserker spawn bonus
- Made Chainsaw a category 4 weapon
Medic:
- Reduced the Medic run speed bonus by 5% to bring it in line with the Berserker
- Medic now receives double the amount of money per point of health (.6 from .4)
Sharpshooter:
Changes:
- Reduced stun effect of Crossbow from 1 second to .3 seconds
- Reduced Scrake damage taken from Crossbow Headshot from 1.0 to 0.5
- Reduced Fleshpound damage taken from Crossbow Headshot from 0.5 to 0.3
- Made the headshot modifier for the Crossbow Sharpshooter only
- Reduced the EBR's fire rate from 0.175 to 0.25
- Gave discount on bolt purchases to the Sharpshooter - Up to 33% at lvl 6
- Increased M14 head shot multiplier - From 2 to 2.25
- Lowered the M14 base damage by 6
- Reduced Dual Hand Cannon effectiveness for Sharpshooters. Removed body shot bonus, as well as reload and recoil bonus.
- Removed all body shot modifiers from the Sharpshooter
- Removed reload and recoil bonuses for the 9mm and Duelies from the Sharpshooter
- Reduced 9mm headshot bonus on Hell on Earth only (down to 40% from 140%)
- Increased Xbow bolt price reduction from 30 to 42%
- Returned headshot multiplier to Dual HC
Crossbow:
Changes:
- Reduced Crossbow Arrow's headshot multiplier from 6 to 4
- Reduced damage type's multiplier from 1.3 to 1.0
- Max bolts is 36 instead of 40, Ammo starts with 12 bolts instead of 40, Ammo Pickups give you 6 bolts instead of 8, Purchasing ammo costs 20 instead of 15 and gives 6 bolts instead of 5
- Reduced Xbow weight by 1 from 10 to 9
Support:
- Hunting Shootgun: Increased Max Ammo to 48 instead of 46 and set Initial Ammo to 15 instead of 46
- Hunting shotgun ammo price reduced to 15
Demo:
Changes:
- Increase the cost of pipebombs – Increased from 800 to 1500 w/o discounts
- Changed pipebomb discount - Up to 74% at lvl 6
- Fixed ammo refill on Pipebombs so its half of the price of the weapon
- Reduced the weight of the LAW by 1
- Improved pipebomb pricing irregularities
- Increased direct damage on LAW rocket hits - Damaged increased to 950 from 850, and radius reduced to 500 from 600
- Arming distance on LAW increased from 6 meters to 10 meters
- Changed price of all grenade launcher nades to 10 (m32 and m79)
- Moved M32 to slot 4
- Added up to a 30% discount on LAW, LAW rockets, and Launcher Grenades.
- Reduced LAW rocket amount to 10 for non Demolitions
- Increased LAW rocket amount to 20 for a lvl 6 Demolitions
- Moved pipebombs down in their category
Firebug:
Changes:
- Reduced burn damage on the Mac 10
- Removed the dual weapon spawn bug for the level 6 firebug.
- Moved Mac10 to slot 3
Commando:
- Increased damage on SCAR to 65 (From 57 post 1014, down from 85 pre 1014)
Fleshpound:
Changes:
- Doubled the rage duration
- Should now target players more intelligently
- Increased anti headshot resistance to .35
- Fixed the Fleshpound's Rage being based off unperked damage(and any other damage modifiers that were previously being applied AFTER the 2 second damage check)
Scrake:
Changes:
- Rages at 25% health gone instead of 50% health gone
- Increased anti headshot resistance to .35
- Improved his rage ability (was not always raging at low health when he should have been)
- Stopped the Take Hit animation from playing when the stun should be locked (after first stun has been achieved)
Patriarch Goals:
Changes:
- His melee attack should now damage multiple targets in his path
- Improved his directional hit (should now only be hitting things in front of him and pushing them back)
Clots:
Changes:
- When grabbed by a clot, players can no longer jump to remove the hold
